It features some of the foremost voices in Somatic Trauma Therapy—including Peter Levine, Bessel van der Kolk, Frank Anderson, Deb Dana, Linda Thai, and Alexia Rothman—and offers an immersive opportunity to deepen skills and embodiment in therapeutic practice.
The Wild Within: Movement and Meditation for Inner Connection
The Wild Within: Movement & Meditation for Inner Connection offers a restorative space to unblend from parts and reconnect with Self through gentle, nature-inspired practices. We’ll begin with mindful Qi Gong-based movement to ground the body and calm the nervous system, then transition into a lying-down or seated position for a guided meditation that invites participants to meet a part of their system through the metaphor of the natural world—earth, water, fire, or air. Creative reflection through journaling or sketching helps integration, followed by optional sharing in community. This session offers IFS practitioners a nourishing opportunity to listen inward, access Self energy, and feel supported by the living wisdom of nature.
